Department of Agronomy
Faculty Members
Agronomy is a department within the Faculty of Agriculture in the Agriculture and Forestry University Nepal. We have five faculty members as well as two administrative and technical support staff. Our programs focus on Crop Management and Production, Crop Physiology, Conservation Agriculture, Nutrition Management, Water management, Weed Science, Seed Science Technology, and Crop Simulation Modeling. Our location on the Central Terai of Nepal provides particular advantages to those interested in the challenges of sustainable food production and natural resource conservation and management in humid subtropical regions. Besides the numbers of courses on Undergraduate, we offer graduate programs for both Masters and Doctoral degrees in Agronomy.
